Our Commitment

NearMyWindow is committed to the safety and protection of minors. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that exploits, endangers, or harms children in any way.

Prohibited Content

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind
• Content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors
• Grooming behavior or solicitation targeting minors
• Any content that facilitates harm to children

Detection and Prevention

• User-generated content is subject to moderation and review
• Users must be 13 years of age or older to register
• In-app reporting tools allow any user to flag inappropriate content
• Reported content is reviewed promptly and removed if it violates our standards
• Accounts found distributing prohibited content are permanently banned

Reporting In-App

Any user can report a window post or user profile through the overflow menu within the app. All reports are reviewed by our team.

Reporting to Authorities

Any confirmed CSAM discovered on our platform will be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, as well as to relevant Canadian national and regional authorities.
