NearMyWindow is a globe made of real windows. Every pin is a photo someone took of the view they actually live with — a street in Lagos, a balcony in Lisbon, snow on a roof in Sapporo. Sharing yours takes about a minute, and once it is up, anyone exploring the globe can find it and say hello.
Choose a face and a name so people know who's at the window. You can change it anytime in your profile.

Take or choose a photo of the actual view from your window — a street, a skyline, a garden, the sea.
It appears as a pin anyone can find. People can look and say hi.
When someone messages you, the app translates both ways — you each write in your own language.
Post the view, not yourself. A window photo should show what is outside — the app is about places, and photos of people or private interiors are removed.
You stay in control. Hide your window, replace the photo, or delete it entirely from your profile at any time, and it leaves the globe straight away.
Nobody sees your exact address. Your window sits near where you are rather than on top of it, and only the city or region is ever shown.
